I enjoyed reading Dana Hulls article Blogging Between the Lines because she pointed out very important points in reference to today's style of blogging. I have always wanted to create a personal blog but every time that I do I never keep up with it. It's interesting reading Dana Hull's article as she points out that blogging isn't just personal anymore! There is a blog online for practically any and everything. I frequent celebrity gossip blogs most often to keep up with the latest info on my favorite celebrities. Blogs have sparked the interest , according to Dana Hull, of even news reporters. Writers are finding out that people sometimes frequent blogs more so than they do paper newspapers. I can understand how it can be difficult for those people, like news reporters and other writers, to keep their blogs objective, when blogs are such subjective things. To me, your blog is a place where you can practice your freedom of speech and share your opinion on different subjects with the world. I definitely think that when a professional such as a news writer is creating and posting on a blog on behalf of the company they work for, they should be held by the same sourcing standards as print edition work. This is because it's so easy to type something up and hit submit, and the information that is typed could or could not be true. I do not rely on blogs for pertinent information for this reason. Blogs are a pastime and mostly for fun reading to me.
Davonda, I like your blog and yes it is easy like 1,2,3 and it is for number of reasons. It is a way where people can do many things.
